It seems as though I am in a streak of bad luck when it comes to getting into any of Google’s beta invite programs. No CR-48 and no Google Music despite being quick on the LMB.
Fortunately, Forte has you covered with a quick look of the beta music service. From what he’s told me of the service, I think that i needs improvement in order to compete with the current juggernaut that is Amazon Cloud Player, much less the up-and-coming offering from Apple’s iCloud service. The lack of a store or method for side-loading and buyng content is obvious, and the RIAA will hopefully get their heads out of their asses the sand and realize that refusing to work with Google is going to cost them big bucks.
